Yen Tu works as a Project Manager for Comar, LLC. at their Garden Grove facility. He’s currently based in Irvine, California.
Originally from Palmdale, California, Yen was born to Yuan H. Tu (father) and Kim F. Tan (mother) as their only child. At an early age, his mother instilled into him the principles of hard work and ethics by maintaining 3 part-time jobs to ensure the family had a place to live, food to eat, and clothes to wear.
Yen attended his local community college (Antelope Valley College) before transferring to the University of California, Irvine. Within three years, Yen would graduate with his Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. He’s continuing his education in Project Management and is currently pursuing his CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) certification. He will want to obtain his PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification and ultimately, his MBA (Masters of Business Administration).
Outside of work, Yen also lives a very active life. During the work week, you can typically find him at the gym after work or supporting one of his other interests, martial arts tricking or dance. His weekends are typically reserved for more “fun” activities such as hiking, traveling, and/or attending music festivals.
